DM-Awards-FinalistLondon, UK – September 4th, 2012 – Thriving technology company Kainos has been shortlisted for the 2012 DM Awards, which will be presented at a prestigious evening ceremony in London on October 25th.

Kainos, whose flagship Evolve® EDM and workflow solution has achieved phenomenal success in the health sector – has been nominated in two key categories: DM Company of the Year and DM Software Product of the Year.

Now in their sixth year, the Document Manager Awards recognise the best products, services and companies in the UK document and content management industry. Entries are evaluated by an independent judging panel of industry experts, with many categories open to public voting.

DM Magazine, which organises the awards, describes the Document Manager Company of the Year category as the ‘ultimate accolade’, recognising “outstanding achievement: a combination of performance, delivery and development in a fast-changing environment”. The Document Manager Product of the Year category meanwhile rewards an “outstanding software product offering that truly represents the best in its field this year”.

Voting for the shortlisted entries is now open, closing on October 11th. The winners will be announced at a black-tie dinner on Thursday October 25th at the Russell Hotel in London, attended by around 200 guests from across the highest levels of the UK document management industry.

Commenting on being named a finalist in the awards, Brendan Mooney, CEO of Kainos, said: “We are delighted. It is wonderful to be recognised for our achievements as a company. In tough business conditions, Kainos is going from strength to strength and growing rapidly as a business, which is down to the hard work of the whole team and a honed product set which we continue to develop and refine hand in hand with our customers.”
