Paul was a Partner in PwC for over twenty years. He led the firm in Northern Ireland for ten years and was a member of the PwC UK Board for seven years. During that time, Paul was Head of UK Regions for three years and then led the consulting business in the UK and EMEA for four years.
He is currently a Trustee and Vice Chair of NI Hospice and a member of the NI Development Board of the Kings Trust. Paul has been Chair of Ulster Rugby since 2017. A former Chair of the Institute of Directors in Northern Ireland, he also served on the National Council of the IOD for six years.
Paul is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors and a Chartered Management Consultant. He received the IOD NI’s most prestigious award in 2023 for Excellence in Board Governance.
In the 2021 New Years Honours List, Paul was awarded a CBE for services to the Northern Ireland economy.
